Trump Isn't Making America Great Again

Trump is providing the world with a preview of what he’ll do as president. From my perspective, He’ll make his own fake world for those who support him to inhabit, in which he’s always right and deserves credit and praise for everything good that happens anywhere, whether he had anything to do with it or not. If there’s positive news, he’ll say it happened because of him. If there isn’t any, he’ll just make something up and take credit for that.  As we go forward in the world, you can expect Trump to regularly take credit for things that Obama did. Remember when he claimed that despite the fact that the official unemployment rate is below 5 percent, the real rate is more like 40 percent? Well, don’t be surprised if Trump says, “Unemployment is now under 5 percent Everyone is saying it’s because I’m making America great!”  E very president engages in an extended argument with his opponents about the state of the country, what its condition is, which situations are important and...

The Breastfeeding Chronicals

I was reading a post and  seen so many people going off on social media about how people shouldn't be upset with mothers breastfeeding in public. well I agree and disagree. There's a huge difference between being modest while breastfeeding and just being straight up careless, trashy and disrespectful to those around you. I'm a father of one and speaking from the mother of my child's voice,"Why don't you try popping out a boob without a baby attached to it and see how long it takes for you to get arrested for public indecency". Its crazy  how that works right? I showed the post to my mom and auntie and they was talking about it bring up the point of how we shouldn't "sexualize" breastfeeding and seeing a woman's breasts while doing so. Actually, both of them were missing the point. It's not sexual, it's just purely dumb and disrespectful. If you see a girl in a shirt cut too low, you call her a slut. If you see a celebrity pos...

America and Drug Addiction

Image
While drug addiction can affect behavior in such a way that a person may at times be slightly forced to commit crimes or act in an irresponsible manner, it must be understood that this is still a medical condition relating to actual physical changes in the brain and it is no different, in that sense, from any other chronic medical condition. Telling an addict that they should simply shape up and snap out of it and start living a normal life would be like telling someone with post-polio syndrome to drop their crutches and walk faster to keep up. It is both disrespectful and, sort of, offensive.  That being said, the word, addict, has some negative meanings. The majority of society, who does not have personal experience and understanding of what it means to suffer from this  illness, typically has a deep misunderstanding of the subject. There is sometimes a lack of respect for the person suffering from the  disease commonly known as addiction. The addict is often treated as...
